Planet of the Apes film
I recently went to see the new Planet of the Apes film. The film was a prequel which started out with the birth of an ape called Caesar. Caesar’s mum was treated with a drug which was intended to treat alzheimer’s disease, it made her super intelligent. Her genes were passed onto Caesar, from then on Caesar grew up learning even more from his surroundings and his adopted human parent who ran the drug research lab. Caesar went on to lead the rest of the apes and the rest would be telling!!!!! The effects were out of this world and Caesar’s facial expressions were incredible.
I’d rate this film amongst my all time favourites such as Avatar, Slumdog Millionaire, Taken, Matilda and Charlie & the chocolate factory. I hope you take my advice and watch this film, you will not regret it!

My Casting Agency Audition
On the 15th of May, I am doing a Casting Agency Audition. This is a chance for me to appear on television, possibly on an advert or a programme. In order for them to choose people for this, all the participants have to perform a song (2 mins max.) And 2 monologues. For my song I an singing ‘Birdy – Skinny Love’, this song has recently reached the top charts on youtube, as for my monologue I am reading ‘Alice In Wonderland’ and ‘Zara’, I am familiar with ‘Alice In Wonderland’, but not as much with ‘Zara’, so over the next couple of days I need to practice like crazy !

Grease – the musical
We’re doing a Grease production at school in July some time. I am so nervous! I’m playing the part of Sandy, and as soon as I found out that I got the part I was soooooo happy! We have a 2 hour practice every Wednesday afternoon and have nearly blocked all the scenes, but none of us have learnt our lines! I am so excited but worried because there’s going to be 100 people or more, I better get practising!
